Refund Policy

Refunds will be available in cases of incorrect payments or accidental card swiping into the Prime Dental Clinic account. Additionally, refunds may be provided when a patient's general medical condition, such as cardiac, pulmonary, or endocrine issues, changes, rendering the patient unsuitable for the planned treatment.
The outcome of dental treatment, like all medical procedures, depends on various factors, including the underlying health conditions, the patient's biological responses, and compliance with pre and post-treatment care. If the management of Prime Dental Clinic, following a review by the clinic's quality assurance process, concludes that the treatment outcome could have been improved, they may, at their sole discretion, approve a refund.
Refunds are available through:

  • Bank Credit: The refund will be processed to the patient's bank account, which may take 15-30 days.

Refund Process (15-30 days):

  1. The refund process will begin once a written request is received from the patient, detailing the reason. This request must be made within three months.

  2. Patients must submit supporting documents, receipts, and x-rays. Any prosthetics (dentures, crowns, aligners), implants, or orthodontic appliances provided must be returned to the clinic. Refunds will not be issued if these items are lost or not returned.

  3. Prime Dental Clinic’s Quality Team will review the refund request based on the provided records and retains the full right to approve or deny the request.

  4. No refunds will be issued for consultations, x-rays, diagnosis, treatment planning, or membership plans. Lab fees for prosthetics and appliances will also be deducted.

Refunds Will Not Be Approved in the Following Cases:

  1. If treatment has begun, is partially completed, or if the prosthetic, implant, braces or aligners have already been ordered.

  2. If the patient fails to attend appointments, causing their condition to deteriorate, or if the fit of a prosthetic, denture, or aligner has changed.

  3. If three months have passed since treatment completion, or if the patient has received treatment at a clinic other than Prime Dental Clinic.

  4. If the patient does not follow post-treatment care instructions or fails to attend further treatment appointments, such as those required for implants or orthodontics.

  5. If aligners have been ordered after an impression or scan has been taken.

  6. If aligners, crowns, or dentures were not collected, and their fit has changed due to tooth movement.

  7. If the treatment was booked under a zero-interest finance scheme.

Warranty for Treatments:

  1. Crowns/Bridges under Warranty: This covers free replacement of the prosthesis if it cracks, chips, or detaches within the warranty period. The original crown must be returned to activate the warranty.

  2. Prosthesis Loss: If the prosthetic is lost, the cost of remaking it will be charged to the patient.

  3. Tooth Pain: The warranty applies to the crown only, not to any pain or issues with the underlying tooth.

  4. Tooth Fracture or Disease: Tooth issues such as fractures or pain do not qualify for a refund or coverage under the crown warranty.

  5. All other treatments have a warranty of three months.

Deductions for Aligners/Orthodontic/Implant/Other Treatments:

  • Cancellation of Aligners: ₹10,000

  • Cancellation of Implant/Orthodontic Treatment: ₹5,000

  • Cancellation of Other Treatment: 50% of the treatment cost

RE-TREATMENT POLICY

Prime Dental Clinic strives to offer the highest quality of care. However, if a treatment’s outcome does not meet expectations due to certain limitations, re-treatment will be prioritized within three months, unless otherwise specified.

  1. Re-treatment will be offered for issues like a loss of filling, appliance breakage, or cementation failure.

  2. If treatment does not meet patient expectations, the patient must have attended all appointments and followed the post-operative care instructions. Non-compliance may result in the patient bearing the cost difference for additional procedures.

  3. In cases of failed treatment, re-treatment or alternative treatment at Prime Dental Clinic will be provided within three months.

  4. Patients who receive treatment outside of Prime Dental Clinic will not be eligible for re-treatment.

Orthodontic Patients:

Orthodontic re-treatment will be offered within one year of completion if:

  1. The patient followed all appointments and reported appliance breakages or issues promptly.

  2. The patient wore retainers and aligners as advised.

  3. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in treatment relapse, which is not covered under re-treatment.

Implant Patients:

Orthodontic re-treatment will be offered within one year of completion if:

  1. The patient completed implant surgery and crown fitting in a timely manner.

  2. The patient followed post-operative care instructions and maintained normal blood parameters.

  3. Diabetic and hypertensive patients attended post-operative check-ups as advised. Re-treatment is not eligible if the patient delayed necessary procedures, such as implant surgery or crown fitting.

MANAGEMENT RIGHTS:

If a patient attempts to defame Prime Dental Clinic or its staff, management reserves the right to reject the refund or re-treatment request. Management also reserves the right to deny refunds or re-treatments if the patient failed to follow treatment instructions.
